The National Commission for Culture and the Arts introduces one of the new set of awardees for the Philippine Heritage Awards. The Partners for Indigenous Knowledge Philippines will be conferred the award under Heritage Education and Interpretation for their efforts in documenting and passing the traditions of the Cordillera People to the younger generations through their publications.
The Philippine Heritage Awards is a conservation recognition program conferred by the President of the Philippines, upon the recommendation of the NCCA, for special achievements and important contributions and services in the area of heritage preservation and conservation efforts.
